I received an email from a friend of mine last night that got me thinking…

He was talking about a magic elixir that fixes pretty much everything that ails you – Gratitude, which is not surprising to hear around this time of the year. This isn’t quite what made me thinking.

I would like to share what he wrote…

“One of the things I’ve learned in my life”, he said, “is that the more I can live my life from a place of gratitude for all the gifts I’ve received… well the better my life is. In every way. Including, not incidentally, my business.

Make no mistake – the more gratitude I have, the better my business does.
It makes me more impactful. It attracts better people into my life. It builds my relationships with the people in my life.”

And then he shared how he begins every weekly meeting with his team.

“the first thing we do in every meeting is a simple gratitude exercise. We ‘go around the room’ and each team member shares something that they’re grateful for in their lives. It could be as simple as the weather, or time with family… or a team member helping out on a big project.”

When I read this first, I began to wonder… What would our lives be like if we embraced this little tradition (or “ritual”, as he calls it)?

And then, I thought how much we could help each other by sharing stories about little rituals you might have to express gratitude and appreciation. Because as a certified hypnotherapist you know better than anyone how powerful and healing this state of mind is.

And the more of theses types of stories we collect the more people they could resonate with and as a result help them to become stronger, to become happier, to become more confident, happier and healthier.

So, here are my little ways to express gratitude…

Every time I pet our dog or cat, I thank them for reminding me about allowing myself to be happy “just because”.

Every time I write a check, in my mind I am not paying bills. I am writing notes of appreciation.

Every time I drive, I look at the sky to remind myself how great this life is and how grateful I am for the opportunity to be, to create, to breath in and out, for the opportunity to have you as a part of our lives simply because you’ve allowed us to become part of yours.

What are your little things you do or rituals of gratitude you have? Thank you for sharing!

Once a month… once a week… once a day…

A good meal, good company, peace and quiet, and… dedication to enjoying and appreciating the many things good in our lives.

Thank You For Being Part of Our Life & Happy Thanksgiving Day!

What’s New & Exciting? – Results Are In

The Results Are In – If you remember, about a week ago we asked you a couple of questions in terms of what could help you to grow your hypnotherapy practice. And before you find out if your choice has won, I would like to thank every one who participated in this little survey for helping us to get better at what we do. And the winner is…

How to Get “Instant” Credibility As a Hypnotherapist And… For Free
While other hypnotists in your area are doing pretty much the same thing to bring in clients (running ads in magazines or radio shows, offerring discounts, doing Yellow Pages advertising, business cards, etc.) YOU are doing just one thing differently and as a result… YOU are getting stories written about you in the same newspapers, on the same radio shows, in the same magazines. Wonder what this one thing could be?

Prolonged Hypnosis In Psychosomatic Medicine - When I was creating some special “night-long” audio programs for my clients, I felt it was the right thing to do. Now… I know why. If you completed your training in hypnotherapy here, in the United States, then most likely you haven’t heard anything about “prolonged” or time-extended hypnosis, because…

Ukrainian Grandma Secrets - a couple of immune boosting recipes… and the last but not least

NGH monthly meeting – will take place on Dec 7th at 7:30 PM; come for the “grand openning” of the holiday season celebration (and bring a little bit of your favorite things to share, be it something sweet or not…)
