How to Get ‘Instant’ Credibility As a Hypnotherapist And…

- For Free -

And the “secret” is… to start doing at least ONE thing different.

That’s right… While other hypnotists in your area are doing pretty much the same thing to bring in clients (running ads in magazines or radio shows, offerring discounts, doing Yellow Pages advertising, business cards, etc.) YOU are doing just one thing differently and as a result… YOU are getting stories written about you in the same newspapers, on the same radio shows, in the same magazines.

Wonder what this one thing could be? – Press releases

When you submit a press release (and do it on regular basis) you you get publicity in the media. And as you get publicity in the media you get ‘instant’ credibility.  People instantly believe you, because people running ads are seen as salesmen.  People who get articles in the same newspapers are seen as news do you see an enormous difference in perception here?

And I am not talking about the fact that in the tough economy times like we live now there is only one way to keep growing – keep marketing.

As one of our good marketer-friend said, “when business owners face economic hard times, the ‘vast’ majority of them (my guess is 98% of them) do the turtle routine. They tuck their heads in and hope their shells are strong enough to protect them from whatever is going on outside… It never is.”

The “turtles” cut back on advertising and marketing without even realizing that cutting back reduces the number of clients and/or sales even more… and so on until… there is no business to advertise or market for.

As you consider publishing your first press release, you may also consider avoiding the #1 mistake business owners make and as a result… get sub par results from their efforts.

Remember:
A Press Release = NEWS (not an offer of your services or products), which means that it has to be about readers and important information that could help them in any way, especially if it’s about their health or protecting their wallet.

The good news is that with our field it’s easy, because no matter where you look WE offer solutions. (By the way, our solution is not hypnosis, it’s what they are going to get at the end.)

Here’s an example of news-like press release topic:

“5  Things About <the pain> That Your Doctor Is Not Telling You”

So, before writing your press release, consider taking a some time to go “out there” and see how your expertise can help them make a wiser decision. And the closer to their “pain” your message is, the sooner publishers will start talking about you, the more “hot” prospect calls YOU are going to get.

Now… If you have a question about how you can use press releases, feel free to ask.
